NWAC’s National Apprenticeships Program (NAP) works to increase employment opportunities for Indigenous women and 2SLGBTQIA+ persons in the skilled trades by providing apprenticeship grant incentives to small and medium sized business that hire them to undertake new, first-year apprenticeships in Red Seal Program Construction and Manufacturing trades.

The purpose of the NAP is to help improve the socio-economic condition of disadvantaged groups; therefore, only users who identify as Indigenous people and as women or 2SLGBTQIA+ persons are eligible to register with the program.
